The Vortex Champ XXL Combo, is a high
performance race machine. It comes with two wing tips extension, to
expand it's flight envelope and giving you the most versatility a glider
can offer. The Vortex Champ is built for speed but also to feel the
light lift out there, so the MH airfoil gives that flexibility. Great
for GPS cross-country flying, thermal flying, slope racing and fully
aerobatic, the plane can be built for aero towing or electric power
setup.
The construction of the wings is
very sturdy, with full carbon skin, double carbon reinforced main spar,
the wings are pressed in molds for accuracy and strength. The short wing
tips at 4.2m wing span will give and extremely dynamic flight, while the
extended 5m wing tips will lead to greater efficiency.
This efficient wing set is bolted
onto a slim white gel coated fuselage with generous carbon
reinforcement, for long durability. Elevator bellcrank comes installed,
rudder ready to fit. The accessories package includes all need to
install the electric motor.
