The Vikos is the new
bad boy on the slope. This ultimate all molded slope racer excels in F3F races with it's ability to accelerate quickly, go
fast and retain energy in the turns. Although the Vikos excels at
racing, it's docile handling allows the intermediate flyer to relax and
have fun on the slope, just going fast, or performing the full range of
aerobatics. The Vikos is also well suited for windy thermal
duration events. It features state of the art construction with all
flying surfaces being hollow core molded. It sports a radical
elliptical wing plan form which has proven to outperform other designs in
high-speed runs.
The HN airfoils are not as
well known as some of the more poplar airfoils but have proven themselves
to be very efficient in this application. The HN-947 affords low
drag at high speed, while maintaining good lift and docile handling at
lower speeds.
For the speed freak this full carbon version, is
available, and so has proven that
it is very strong even under the extreme abuse of Dynamic Soaring.
The very clean, stiff and sturdy construction gives a
very durable airplane
Kit content:
The two piece tail simply plugs into the rear of
the fuse. All the linkages are pre-installed and concealed by
the tail cone.
The 2pc carbon wing has control horns installed under the
moulded
fairings on top of the wing, a nice joiner, and room for more
ballast in the wing.
Complete with wiring harness and plugs, the Vikos is one of the
quickest builds we have come across. Install your servos, finish
the wiring harness and its time to fly! |
